Summer 2018

Summer Programme

The 2nd edition of Klosters Music Festival will take place from the 27th July to 4th of August 2018. Our Festival & Artistic director, David Whelton (former director of the Philharmonia Orchestra London), has created a wonderful programme for your enjoyment. Performances by some of the most renowned local and international artists of our time will be the highlights of this summer’s festival: Steven Isserlis, Paavo Järvi & Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Nikolai Lugansky, Julia Lezhneva & Kammerorchester Basel, Christian Tetzlaff, Tanja Tetzlaff, Lars Vogt as well as Maurice Steger & La Cetra Barockorchester Basel. In addition, matinee concerts, pop-up concerts and the very popular open-air tent concerts will complement this summer’s Klosters Music Festival. A committed team, highly motivated both by the success of the 1st edition of the festival and the synergies created as a result as well as the positive economic effects on Klosters and its surrounding area, is currently preparing for the 2nd edition of Klosters Music Festival.
